Ịkpọghachi Asụsụ Igbo

Ọtu onye n’ime ndị ọkachamara dere akwụkwọ a na-akpọ ụtọasụsụ Igbo kwuru sị, “Asụsụ bụ ihe mmadụ na ibe ya ji enwe mmekọrịta ma bụrụkwa ihe e ji ama ihe onye bu n’uche, ya na ebe onye siri bịa.

     Ọtụtụ ihe arụ dị iche iche na-eme n’ala anyị bụ ala Igbo oge ugbua. Ekwensu etinyela echiche ọjọọ ń ime ndị nne na nna ọgbaraọhụrụ ha wee kewaa asụsụ Igbo, nke na asụsụ Igbo anaghịzi ezu oke ma a na-asụ ya.   O nwezighiị onye ala Igbo ga-ekwu okwu ọbụla ga-achọ ịsụ Igbo agaghị agwakọ ya bekee.  N’oge gboo, asụsụ Igbo bụ ihe e ji ama atụ nyere asụsụ ndị mba ọzọ n’ịtụ ilu.  Ihe dịka ikele ịsaala chi? Ka chi fo, na ndeewo alaala kpamkpam. Egwuọnwa nke bụ ebe a na-anọ amụta omenala ghara isizi na ya were pụọ gụnyere:

ịkparịta ụka n’asụsụ Igbo n’etiti ụmụaka.

     Ọzọkwa bụ ka gọọmentị ala Igbo niile gbakọọ aka wepụta ụlọakwụkwọ Igbo dịka ndị obodo ọzọ siri nwee nke ha. Ọmụmaatụ bụ na e nwere ụlọakwụkwọ asụsụ French, Yoruba, Housa na German wee dịrị gawa itinye asọmpị n'ụlọakwụkwọ ala Igbo dị iche iche gbasara onye ga-asụ asụsụ Igbo ma dekwaa ya ede n’enweghi nkwuhie ọnụ maọbụ ndehie ọbụla.

     Ndi be anyị ọ bụrụ na ọkụkụ hapụ kwom, o were gịnị zụọ ụmụ ya? Ọ bụrụ na anyị bụ ndị Igbo hapụ ọmarịcha asụsụ anyị, kedu ka anyị ga-esị enwe mmekọrịta n’etiti onwe anyị bụ ndị Igbo, ya na ịma onye bụ onye Igbo ebe ọbụla anyị hụrụ onwe anyị? APRASA 2016 Football Competition Set to Kick Off - DOSAD Commends APRASA for the Initiative

Agulu Priests, Religious, Aspirants and Seminarians Association (APRASA) is organizing a football competition for the youths of catholic parishes in Agulu, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State. It will last from 6th to 13th August 2016.

The letter made available to Fides has it that the venue for all the matches will be in St. Mary’s field at Nwagu Agulu and it is expected that each player has to be a registered member of the parish youth, mercenaries are not allowed. Again, the list of the players must be signed by the Parish Priest or the Parish Youth Chaplain.

Tuesday evenings are special at St Anthony Catholic Church Enugwu-ukwu and environs. As from half hour of three in the afternoon, there is a traffic build up. You can see them – young and old, tall and short, fat and thin, huge and pint, all alighting from their cars and lacing their boot and wears, heading to the football field and volleyball court. Among them are lawyers, lecturers, coaches, administrators, musicians, engineers, architects, name them. They are however bonded by two significant binding factors-Catholic Priesthood and Sports.
